The Gen Hub, bringing the presence of the Gen Center even closer to specific zones around the world, is one of the newest developments of the Focolare Movement. The first Hub, based in Tagaytay, Philippines, is currently beginning its work, catering to the zones of INS-PHIL (India Subcontinent-Philippines), SEAP (South East Asia and Pakistan) , East Asia, and Oceania.
Its purpose is simple yet beautiful: to help bridge the Gen Center and the zones by sustaining networks within and across them. It also weaves the cultural, linguistic, and experiential gifts of the local realities into the international vision of the Gen Center. This exchange allows global and local dimensions to enrich one another, making experiences shared, materials even more accessible, and collaboration even deeper across borders.
The Hub also supports initiatives for children, teens, and young adults, and may offer service in communication, formation, and outreach. As a new reality, it will continue to grow through lived experience, discovering step by step how best to serve both the Gen Center and the Zones.
